Evaluation of Forage Qualities of Sorghum Under Varying Jeevamrit Formulations and Spraying Intervals

Description

The study assessed dry matter yield of forage sorghum under different jeevamrit formulations and spraying intervals. Jeevamrit-3 (highest concentration) and weekly spraying produced the highest total dry matter yield of 10.79 t/ha and 10.89 t/ha respectively.

Findings

Higher nutrient concentration and more frequent application of jeevamrit led to increased dry matter yield, likely due to greater nutrient availability and microbial activity in the soil. However, jeevamrit-2 and biweekly spraying produced statistically similar yields.

Stats

Jeevamrit-3: 10.79 t/ha total dry matter yield
Weekly spraying: 10.89 t/ha total dry matter yield
Jeevamrit-2: 10.47 t/ha (statistically similar to jeevamrit-3)
Biweekly spraying: 10.48 t/ha (statistically similar to weekly).
